flux investigates the transformation of the American West through suburban sprawl and its markers of control and division. Aerial views of uniform suburban developments juxtapose intimate, ground-level images of construction materials, fences, and landscapes. The arrangement encourages viewers to question the narratives of progress embedded within these rapidly expanding suburban landscapes. This work consists of seven pigment prints on polyester fabric and cotton rag paper, with print sizes including 4x5 inches, 8x10 inches, and 40x50 inches.
